James Pattinson to Sangakkara, out Caught by Forrest!! Such a nice innings comes to an end! Top edge on that one! Slightly shorter in length, Sangakkara shuffled across his stumps and tries to pull it away. The ball angled across him and flew off his top edge to the man at deep backward square leg. Forrest got under it and took a comfortable catch to dismiss the wicket keeper batsman. Big breakthrough and a much needed one for Australia. Shane Watson to Thirimanne, FOUR, another one outside the off stump, Thirimanne played it to square third man. Hilfenhaus at the boundary put in a slide to stop the ball from crossing the ropes. He hurled the ball back but while throwing the ball his right foot stretched back and came in contact with the ropes. Warner threw the ball to the keeper's end and Chandimal was short of his ground but luckily for him Hilfenhaus' error earned Sri Lanka four runs and he got to stay out in the middle

James Pattinson to Chandimal, FOUR, brilliant timing! Short and wide outside the off stump, Chandimal gets onto his back foot and slashes it to deep backward point. Doherty puts in a dive at the boundary, gets a hand on it but fails to stop it drom crossing the ropes

The ball goes up in the air a long way and for a moment it looks as though it might just beat Mike Hussey at deep mid wicket. Senanayake tries to flick it away but the ball strikes him on his front pad. It looked as though it may have been sliding down the leg side but umpire Rod Tucker thinks otherwise and raises his finger. Senanayake looks a little bemused but he has to make the walk back to the pavilion. Christian on a hat-trick now! Hawk-eye shows that the ball was indeed hitting the leg stump! Nuwan Kulasekara plays a similar shot to the previous batsman. Tries to flick it away but gets struck on the front pad. This time again it looked as though the ball was going down the leg side.
